It’s hard to get rid of the Navy trend, that has been imposing fashion for a while now. And I’m not at all surprise how those cute little blue, white, baby doll, Lolita dresses, are hypnotizing all of us, at least myself. I’m addicted to all styles and shapes. From pants, dresses, dungarees, always while they keep the navy theme.
Here is a selection of my favorite clothing and accessory items that I found on Internet.

Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters is one of my favorite stores, and this Spring you’ll find an amazing collection of Navy inspired clothing and accessories.

Saga Lova
Saga Lova is a Swedish designer that I discovered thanks to the blog Q’s Daydream. They offer you a great selection of Vintage – Navy touch pieces. Love them all.

Dear Creatures
Dear Creatures is a young playful collection that offers unique pieces with a nod to the past. I discovered the brand thanks to Liebemarlene Vintage, one of my very favorite bloggers. Their Spring 2010 nautical clothing, it’s all I ever wished for.

Toms and Lady Marshmallow saddle shoes
Keep the navy theme, with some inspiring nautical Toms shoes, or even those lovely Vintage saddle shoes, that will look gorgeous with a dress, dungaree, shorts, etc… Also, a nice pair of ballerinas will look great, and if you rather go for high heels, try a pair of the so trendy clogs, similar to the ones Chanel exposed on its SS 2010 catwalk.
Nautical looks are everywhere at the moment, so it will be very easy to find similar clothing, accessories and shoes around your closest hig street stores. If you didn’t find anything yet, just wait for a little while that they bring out the Spring collection.
Also please check my Etsy store, as I have two gorgeous vintage Navy dresses and a lovely pair of vintage saddle shoes.
Lady Marshmallow appears in the February issue of Vanidad (Spanish fashion & lifestyle magazine), with an In & Out section and an article about the cutest race car driver in the world : Julien Gerbi.
Sorry folks, but those articles are in Spanish, however I’ll translate the In & Out article asap, and Julien’s article will appear shortly translated on MyRaceDriver.com.
Vanidad is a great magazine which includes the latest trend, music, people and art updates. It has this edgy style that distiguish it from all the other fashion magazines. If I’m allow to compare it, I would qualify it as a Spanish version of Dazed & Confused. Oh ! and the February issue, really ROCKS ! So, if you haven’t bought it yet, what are you waiting for ?

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour are a very promising Danish alternative pop band, consisting of vocalist Mette Lindberg and producer Lars Iversen.
I have been addicted for quite a while now to their songs, mainly The Sun Ain’t Shining No More and Around the Bend. The video clips are amazing with their vintage, 70s, edgy, hippie style scenarios. And the 27 years old vocalist Mette Lindberg reminds me of the lovely Vanessa Paradis on Be My Baby, Duffy on Mercy and Janis Joplin. Great music explosion !
If you haven’t heard about them yet, bellow you can find a pictures of The Asteroids Galaxy Tour vocalist Mette Lindberg and my favorite video clip The Sun Ain’t Shining No More. Enjoy and VIVA Scandinavian artists.

Juan Francisco Casas is the name of a young Spanish artist who impresses the art industry with his blue pen illustrations. From a first view, you’ll think that those illustrations are real photos that have been retouched in photoshop. But that’s not the case, he reproduces his images with friends’ and ex-flirts’ photos taken around the world with his camera. Those edgy images are becoming really popular among many young fans, and today he’s considered as one of the most influential young painters in Spain. He has exhibited at some of the most important galleries in Spain and international art fairs. He lives and works in Madrid.
