Catherine Mountbatten Windsor, Duchess of Cambridge (before Kate Middleton) chose a dress inspired on Grace Kelly’s wedding dress.  Find some pictures bellow to see the similarities, however some differences are that Kate went for an open neckline, while Grace got more discrete with a high collar. I could also remark that both chose the similar flowers for their wedding bouquet, as the lily-of-the-valley flowers.

We can already find similar wedding dresses as the one Catherine wore at her wedding, as for example the one bellow from designer Romona Keveza.

After watching all this pictures, I must say that Grace Kelly is eternally outstanding, and please let me know who can beat this beauty, cause so far I have seen none.

Here is a short post about my top 5 Kate Middleton outfitts, starting obvioulsy with the gorgeous wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Simply elegant and romantic. Loved it all, the jewelry not to extravagant, the sweet flower bouquet, etc…

I will keep on posting more pictures about the guests, such as pictures from Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton that looked stanning.

Bellow is the GIF animation (courtesy of www.iamcaty.com) of the throwing of the wedding flower bouquet. The lucky girl that got it, was Caty, my brothers girlfriend that came down to sunny Spain all over from Sweden. Caty is an amazing graphic designer and illustrator, also author of the design of the Lady Marshmallow Blog. Check out her amazing blog here

That’s all folks, hope you enjoyed my wedding pictures. And now time to the Royal Wedding of William and Kate. I can´t wait to see Katies dress, her hair, the ceremony, well everything, it’s just like a modern Cinderella story, plus I love that girl, she’s so gorgeous, elegant and  natural. A post about Kate Middleton will be coming up soon. Don’t miss out her top 5 looks, chosen by Lady Marshmallow.
