Orla Kiely Spring Summer 2010

The traditional British seaside holiday comes to life in Orla Kiely’s Spring Summer 2010 collection. Inspired by Cornish boat scenes and Patrick Heron paintings, the result is seaside symbols in beautiful fabrics, soft shapes and colours.

I discovered the brand a year ago, and since, I’m addicted to it. Every collection Orla creates, it’s full of innocence, freshness, with a colorful and playful touch. All her designs are so unique, and so, the patterns. The mix of vintage looks, babydoll and elegance, brings back the so popular theme for this Spring Summer 2010; Lolita.

I couldn’t resist to pop into one of the Orla Kiely stores in London, Covent Garden, and I must say that, even tough the prices are a bit high, the quality and finishing of each item, really worth’s it.

Oh ! And those sunglasses, are gorgeous. And they are the perfect ones to replace my old Ray Ban that everyone is wearing now a day.

When two sisters with incredible talents, decides to work together, this is what we get, Twenty8Twelve!

This two sisters are Savannah Miller (fashion designer) & Sienna Miller (actress and fashion icon).

Autumn-Winter 09/10 Shoe list

My boots are made for walking!

I just love the new Burberry Prorsum shoes, they are fabulous! They look so comfy, sexy and so trendy at the moment. Perfect for day and night. This chunk rubber sole juts made the hit. 1-2-3.

This Carvela boots, are just amazing, same as above, I just love the chunky sole, however this ones having a more classical ankle boot design. 4

I fell in love with this Chloé laced boots, but to not disappoint you to much with the price, they have done reproductions of this boots in Topshop, Urban Outfitters, and many more. So it will be easy to find a similar design for a good affordable price.5

Hitting it hard, are this Pierre Hardy designs for GAP. It’s not everyday that we have the occasion to buy Pierre Hardy designs for such an affordable price. GAP will be putting them out on sale from today 21st October. Hurry up, as people have been waiting for them to be launched, so I bet they will get out of stock very shortly.6

And for last but not least, our extraordinary Isabel Marant that has come out with this amazingly sexy rock & roll ankle boots. Everyone speaks about them, they are just crazy cool! And those knee boots, the best ones out there among many others! As well not to worry, you can find similar reproduction in Zara and many other high street retailers. 7-8

Chanel in the barn!

I’m in love with the new Chanel Spring 2010 collection. Sweet and girly dresses, with sexy and romantic cuts, a Marie-Antoinette touch, with pastel color tones… This is definitely one of my favorite PFW SS 2010 collections. However what else to expect from the majestic couturier Karl Lagerfeld.

Tonight I saw once again the Coco Avant Chanel movie, so, for those who haven’t seen it yet, it’s a must. Such a great & inspiring movie. You will love it!
