Unexpected kiss from Iker Casillas to Sara Carbonero, while the journalist was interviewing him on live tonight at the Spanish TV channel Telecinco.

As per my previous post, this is to confirm what a beautiful lucky charm we have here in Spain. You are great Sara.

Tonight the Spanish team won the World Cup Semi Finals against Germany, and qualified for the first time in history for the World Cup Finale, affronting the Netherlands on Sunday.

However, as I’m not a big football fan, but proud to have my country of residence in Finale, I decided to create this post about two woman who have an influence on those two countries, as both of their partners will be affronting each other during the Finale of the FIFA World Cup 2010.

One is the beautiful sports journalist Sara Carbonero. Girlfriend of the Captain and Goalkeeper of the Spanish football team Iker Casillas, who had the whole world blaming on her, for the defeat of Spain against Switzerland, with stupid speculations such as she would have disturbed the concentration of her boyfriend, bla bla bla. However, as Spain is now in Finale, she now became the country’s lucky charm.

The other gorgeous woman, is the model, actress and TV presenter Sylvie van der Vaart, wife of the Dutch football player Rafael van der Vaart. This woman – mother & wife, has a beautiful natural look, however I’m a bit dissapointed on her style, which is most of the time over exposed, and far to artificial for my taste -which gave me a hard time finding cool pictures for Lady Marshmallow, as most of them looked like coming out from a FHM photoshooting ! -.

Please leave your comments on who you’ll think of this girls to be the FIFA World Cup 2010 lucky charm .

In the meantime, I leave you with this post until next Monday, as I have to get things ready for a friend’s wedding on Saturday, and need to find a dress, have a hair cut, etc…

Oh, and I promise to post all the pictures of the wedding next week, here at Lady Marshmallow.

Enjoy the end of the week, and for those of you watching the FIFA World Cup, enjoy the game and that the best wins.

It doesn’t happen everyday, that my little brother comes to visit me, but this time he did and with a tray full of different variety of cupcakes, from one of my favorite and only cupcake boutique in Alicante, “Las Manolitas”

Their cupcakes are fresh with a home cooking feeling, made with loads of love. And my all time favorites, was the Strawberry cupcake, until I tried a Nut cupcake that remind me of the Jordan Country Crisp cereals. I was so tempted, but had a big decision to take, as I’m allergic to some nuts. But what the hell, the temptation was stronger than me, and even if I would have needed two cortisone injections later on, I decided to eat the cupcake. And lucky me, nothing happened.

For more information  and news on their latest flavours and cupcake giveaways, join Las Manolitas on Facebook.

Thank you brother for those lovely bites, ♥ you !

This days I have been completely out of my head, and the reason why, it’s because my doctor prescribed me some pills that makes me feel more or less like Winona Ryder on Girls Interrupted, completely lost and confused.

And obviously, this is giving me difficulties on thinking about what kind of posts to create. So, as my brain is a bit out of order, I decided not to complicated it to much and add the missing pictures of the trip to Paris I did last March.

Hope you enjoy the pictures, and in the mean time apologies of being out of good posting.

Founded in Paris on 1936 by Hatmaker Auguste Michel. The Maison Michel has created hats for the haute couture and prêt-à-porter collections of companies such as Chanel, Givenchy, Nina Ricci, Laroche, Lanvin and Christian Lacroix. In 1996 Chanel takes over Maison Michel. And in 2006, the first Maison Michel Paris distribution collection was launched.

Today, celebrities such as Mischa Barton, Vanessa Paradis, the Olsen twins, Lily Allen, Kate Moss, Milla Jovovich, between others, have fallen into this wonderful world of Maison Michel hair accessories.

Just want to give a big applause to the designers of this amazing Spring Summer 2010 collection, and Chapeau to the creator of this amazing illustrations. That reminds me the wonderful work of my well talented and ex university room mate, Marta Ramos Muñoz de la Peña.
