Today I decided to start a healthier life, and get my body fit and full of energy. For that I have decided to create my own challenge : to lose 8 kilos in one month.

Today I weight 60 kilos for 1′70 m, which I’m not very happy about.  I have been skinny almost my whole life, just because of my own metabolism, and I have never followed any special diet or done exercise. However, since I turned 20, my weight started to rise from 52 to 56 kilos, and today, 60 kilos.

I can just blame it on myself, as I must agree that I eat loads of crappy food and haven’t exercise for longer than a decade… Wow, this sounds very bad.

Anyway, the main points on my diet will not consist on anything radical or specialized. I’m just going to try having a healthier life, which consists on doing exercise everyday - and I mean everyday - drinking much more water instead of fizzy drinks, leaving apart all those snacks and change it for vegetables and fruits. To sum-up, not starve but eat properly. Also I’ll exchange the pasta for rice, the bread for cereals, patisseries & cookies for fruits and vegetables and eat loads of eggs and eat salads when I get hungry.

Well, maybe something will vary, but the main point is not to starve and just eat properly and do a lot of exercise. I will be posting everyday about all I have eaten and the exercise I have done.

Well, so here it goes : I Lady Marshmallow, 60 kilos for 1 metre 70, will try to lose 2 kilos each week during one month, in order to arrive to 52 kilos and, eventually to be able to jump into my favorite Levi’s Jeans 555 which I wore when I was 17. :)

Wish me good luck.

Above, an image that reflects more or less how do I look right now, and how I wish to look after one month time.

Don’t worry, i’ll be posting real images of myself, however, this is just the intro so you can already have some kind of idea.

I couldn’t wait to see the Oscar Academy Award 2010 red carpet to enjoy those lovely designer evening dresses. Of course, I spotted my favorite ones, and so the worse.

Even though Miley doesn’t sound very familiar to me, I fell in love with the dress she was wearing by one of my favorite designers Jenny Peckham, of whom I have done posts on her collections in the past. Well, Miley, got my vote for best Oscar Academy Award 2010 Red Carpet dress.

Also, please see bellow some of my other favorite dresses, such as Diane’s Kruger wearing Chanel. And many others such as Anna Kendrick and Rachel McAdams wearing Elie Saab Haute Couture,Cameron Diaz wearing Oscar de la Renta, Maggie Gyllenhaal in Dries Van Noten, Nicole Richie with a vintage style dress by Reem Acra & Demi Moore in Versace.

And the worse dressed goes for; Mariah Carey, Penelope Cruz, Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lopez among others.

I must admit that I was expecting a lot from Penelope Cruz, but she really disappointed me with that Donna Karan bordeaux color dress that didn’t seem to fit her at all. Also Amanda, that seemed to get married today and no comment on Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey.

I’m not a big fan of the pink color, and hardly have anything pink in my closet or my house. But with few exceptions, there are two things that have been hunting my mind, and it’s the Nissan Figaro convertible Japanese car and the Big Chill retro style refrigerator, which is a BIG MUST on my kitchen. Without hesitating, I’ll go for the pink color when getting those two things, and don’t ask me why, I just think that some things are made for one color, and I think those two, are perfect in pink.

Well, also, a Pink Must, is to travel to Japan in Spring and enjoy the pink landscape thanks to the Cherry Blossom trees. I can imagine it, such as in the Manga cartoons I watched when I was a kid.

With this said, I leave you with a small collage of my favorite Barbie Pink things.

Also one of my favorite blogger Formentera, el agua marina y otras cosas, from whom I got inspired to create this post, wrote an article with the so retro style refrigerators, but this time from the well known brand Smeg, where you can find a wide selection of vintage style fridges and freezers.

For the Nissan Figaro car, even though they have stopped its distribution, you can find several places in France but mainly UK where they sell and customize those second hand cars. Just google it !

I didn’t think I was ever going to do a post about Unicorns on my blog. However, I do like all kind of mythology, legends, horses and wild nature, that gives me magical inspirations to my everyday life, and today looking around some old boxes I had packed 6 years ago I came across a wonderful book called “Unicorns I Have known” by Robert Vavra. The amazing cover grabbed my attention so I rushed to open the book. I felt in love with those Unicorns that made me believe for a moment that they really exist, and thought I had to share it with you all.

O unicorn among the cedars

To whom no magic charm can lead us,

White childhood moving like a sigh

Through the green woods unharmed in thy

 Sophisticated innocence…

Sorry for not having posted for a while now, but my time has been consumed as the speed of light and don’t know where exactly it disappeared. Not a good excuse but I promise I’ll try and catch it up.

Well, last week was my birthday, carnival and also had friends over, so it didn’t give me enough time to take care of Lady Marshmallow, however I have been working hard on my collection that I hope to launch mid March.

Lolita and Navy is two of my biggest themes for this SS 2010 collection and bellow you can find two images that inspired me on it, Kubricks movie Lolita and the beautiful David Hamilton pictures full of femininity, nature and flower power.

Also I have been addicted to watch promotional short-films with a fairy tale inspired scenes, such as Spell for Lula Magazine, Dollhouse by Ellen Von Unwerth, Magnolia Tree and Island, that you can find bellow by Stella McCartney for Net-a-Porter. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do, a dreamy wonderful world that I wish to live in.
