Sorry for not having posted yesterday and before yesterday, but to be honest, I have been very tired, confused and a bit depressed. Whys that? Tired, because I completely changed my eating habits, and when I don’t know what can I eat, I simply decide to not eat at all. Confused, because since I started my diet, I had several people that advised me in different ways of dieting and how it will work better, but the problem is that, they all contradict themselves in the dieting plan, so at the end I don’t know what can I eat, and not eat, example; should I eat carbohydrates or should I not… well as you can see, from the beginning I decided to do a diet that wouldn’t contain carbohydrate and sugar, but had few friends advising me to eat cereals or at least integral rice, brown pasta or brown bread. Anyways, I’m also depressed cause I got up on weight and also because I cracked twice, eating  one pizza slice before yesterday and one cinnamon bun.

But I don’t give up, as today I did the jeans test and got out my lovely pair of Levi’s jeans, size 28 – 34. I tried them on and realized that I need to loose 24 cm on my hips to be able to close the buttons :s, still can’t believe that I gain 24 cm on my hips.

Regarding what I’ve been eating, even though I haven’t been following any specific diet because of all the confusions, as I said before, I will just try and eat healthy and leave apart all fizzy drinks and sugary juices, white carbohydrates and all kind of sweets, exercise a lot and drink loads of water and green tea. Also cause my main problem is that I retain loads of liquid on my body, I digest extremely good and eat like a bird at each meal, so at the end, I really think my problem comes on not doing any exercise. However, if you do have some good tips on how to lose liquids, please let me know. I just bought some green tea, which they told me that was great for it.

Here is a sum up of what I have been eating this last days;

Day 3: one freshly homemade juice ( carrots + oranges + lemons + pineapple ), mushroom soup, two slices of turkey ham, one egg, dried apricots as snacks, one yogurt ( low fat and sugar free ), one slice of pizza :(

Day 4: one brown bread, one slice of turkey ham, integral rice with one tuna can and Parmesan cheese, one yogurt ( low fat sugar free ), one freshly made juice ( carrots + oranges + lemons + pineapple), one cinnamon bun :(

Day 5: one freshly homemade juice ( carrots + oranges + lemons + pineapple ), integral rice mixed with egg and turkey ham, two slices of brown bread, one chicken breast and green beans.

quizá me lo parezca a mi, pero, 24 cm? no me creo que tus caderas sean de 52 cm.
yo también me he animado a cuidarme un poco, operación bikini (suena muy 90’s early 00’s, pero es la verdad).
    mucho ánimo!

Creo que no me has entendido.

A little bit of advice, sweetie: you have to eat something!

Anyways, when I go on these kinds of crazy diets, I eat cucumbers, tomatoes, huge amounts of watermelon, shrimps, tomato soup, home-made noodle soup with extra spices like chili, fried salmon with salads and lemon, drink a lot of coffee and water.

A great, low calorie salad is tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, shrimps mixed with the regular green stuff. And I eat often, but in very small amounts :)

Your blog is inspiring. I’m trying to eat healthier foods and actually prepare my own food!

Oh and this is pretty obvious but water cleanses the body like no other! So drink a lot of water and it should get rid of your bloating

Hey hun, hope your not too unhappy with this diet. I find the best way to get rid of bloating (water retention) is to cut out all salt, any processed food has it in so make sure the majority of what your eating is fresh. Go for organic too, it really does make the difference, it is slightly more expensive but its so much better for you.

Good luck and keep us posted. Thinking of you.

You’d better eat 5 times per day, and also stop eating carbohydrate from 5pm, and you’ll see the results. Trust me, I’ve lost more than 12 pounds using this two tips, so I’m sure they work.
