Sorry for not having posted for a while now, but my time has been consumed as the speed of light and don’t know where exactly it disappeared. Not a good excuse but I promise I’ll try and catch it up.

Well, last week was my birthday, carnival and also had friends over, so it didn’t give me enough time to take care of Lady Marshmallow, however I have been working hard on my collection that I hope to launch mid March.

Lolita and Navy is two of my biggest themes for this SS 2010 collection and bellow you can find two images that inspired me on it, Kubricks movie Lolita and the beautiful David Hamilton pictures full of femininity, nature and flower power.

 

 

Also I have been addicted to watch promotional short-films with a fairy tale inspired scenes, such as Spell for Lula Magazine, Dollhouse by Ellen Von Unwerth, Magnolia Tree and Island, that you can find bellow by Stella McCartney for Net-a-Porter. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do, a dreamy wonderful world that I wish to live in.

14th of February it’s a very special day for me, not only because it’s the day of LOVE, but also because it’s the day I was born.

This year, Carnival also happens in Alicante (the city where I actually live) on the February 14th. So I believe it will be a very hectic weekend for me.

I will start celebrating Carnival with my closest friends. And just decided to get a mask as a fancy dress, as I believe that it’s a very ancient and enigmatic item, that looks great on anyone and also because I love the Venetian style Carnival.

Carnival is a very popular celebration here in Alicante, and loads of people celebrate it partying the whole night long. People get out in the streets, all fancy dressed and starts partying after dinner, so mainly at 12 am, quite late right, but not for Spain. This year we decided to organize a dinner home with friends and after go out.

 

 

Valentines Day has not been very present in my life, just because it’s my birthday on that day. However I’m those kind of people that is in love with LOVE. So I think it’s very important to show the people you love a simple gesture, even if I believe that we should do it everyday of our lives and not only to your partner but also to your family and friends. Also I’m very disappointedon how this day became materialistic, so with a simple word or image will be enough. So this images bellow are dedicated to you.

 

 

An for last but not least, my birthday, that I hope to spend with the ones I love, and the only thing I’ll ask for, is loads of super mama cakes (cause I think there is nothing better than the patisseries of my mother) and many balloons that will bring a colorful sweet atmosphere to this special day.
