The Lolita dress was the very first clothing item I created for the “Lolita” Spring Summer 2010 collection by Lady Marshmallow, and that’s why the collection owns the name of the dress. Very inspired on the dresses I used to wear when I was a kid, giving a very innocent look to a young lady today.
The liberty flowers and the bow, was the key look for this seasons collection, and therefore, in this dress, all those elements were aplied.

Find bellow the next two pieces of Lady Marshmallow collection; a brown cream-dotted high waisted skirt, with three golden anchor-navy button, and a matching hair band. The silk-viscose material falls perfectly and feels ultra comfortable. The next piece, it’s a blue-marine white-dotted jumpsuit, with five golden anchor-navy buttons. It has loads of attention to detail, as the little strips on the arms that laces up into a bow. The viscose material falls amazingly fitting perfectly to your body shape.

The traditional British seaside holiday comes to life in Orla Kiely’s Spring Summer 2010 collection. Inspired by Cornish boat scenes and Patrick Heron paintings, the result is seaside symbols in beautiful fabrics, soft shapes and colours.
I discovered the brand a year ago, and since, I’m addicted to it. Every collection Orla creates, it’s full of innocence, freshness, with a colorful and playful touch. All her designs are so unique, and so, the patterns. The mix of vintage looks, babydoll and elegance, brings back the so popular theme for this Spring Summer 2010; Lolita.
I couldn’t resist to pop into one of the Orla Kiely stores in London, Covent Garden, and I must say that, even tough the prices are a bit high, the quality and finishing of each item, really worth’s it.
Oh ! And those sunglasses, are gorgeous. And they are the perfect ones to replace my old Ray Ban that everyone is wearing now a day.
