Unexpected kiss from Iker Casillas to Sara Carbonero, while the journalist was interviewing him on live tonight at the Spanish TV channel Telecinco.

As per my previous post, this is to confirm what a beautiful lucky charm we have here in Spain. You are great Sara.

Tonight the Spanish team won the World Cup Semi Finals against Germany, and qualified for the first time in history for the World Cup Finale, affronting the Netherlands on Sunday.

However, as I’m not a big football fan, but proud to have my country of residence in Finale, I decided to create this post about two woman who have an influence on those two countries, as both of their partners will be affronting each other during the Finale of the FIFA World Cup 2010.

One is the beautiful sports journalist Sara Carbonero. Girlfriend of the Captain and Goalkeeper of the Spanish football team Iker Casillas, who had the whole world blaming on her, for the defeat of Spain against Switzerland, with stupid speculations such as she would have disturbed the concentration of her boyfriend, bla bla bla. However, as Spain is now in Finale, she now became the country’s lucky charm.

The other gorgeous woman, is the model, actress and TV presenter Sylvie van der Vaart, wife of the Dutch football player Rafael van der Vaart. This woman – mother & wife, has a beautiful natural look, however I’m a bit dissapointed on her style, which is most of the time over exposed, and far to artificial for my taste -which gave me a hard time finding cool pictures for Lady Marshmallow, as most of them looked like coming out from a FHM photoshooting ! -.

Please leave your comments on who you’ll think of this girls to be the FIFA World Cup 2010 lucky charm .

In the meantime, I leave you with this post until next Monday, as I have to get things ready for a friend’s wedding on Saturday, and need to find a dress, have a hair cut, etc…

Oh, and I promise to post all the pictures of the wedding next week, here at Lady Marshmallow.

Enjoy the end of the week, and for those of you watching the FIFA World Cup, enjoy the game and that the best wins.

It has been such a lovely day today in the south of Spain, warming up the air with 24 degrees, leaving the cold wind and the rain behind.

It was the best occasion to go to the beach for a walk and enjoy this day, and thought that it was also time to reveal images of the girl who’s behind Lady Marshmallow (myself).

Hope you enjoy the pictures and it will only be up to you, if you wish me to get this blog more personal than informative.

And below I leave you with one of my favorite songs ever, La Mer by Charles Trénet.

A small post to let you know that I’m in France at the moment, after spending few days in Italy.  My Internet connection is very reduced, so I wont be able to post daily articles, the reason why Lady Marshmallow has been a bit abandoned for the last few days. I’ll catch it up soon as I get back home, with great pictures of la Cote D’Azur and new vintage articles.

In the meantime, I leave you with an image taken from my garden in Spain, a stunning sunset.
